Getting to the Workshop

This page provides helpful information to assist you in locating the venue for the Open Educational Resources (OER) Workshop at Albany State University. The event will be held at the West Campus Event Center, and visitors are encouraged to review the directions, parking guidance, and map resources provided below before traveling to campus. Whether you are familiar with Albany State University or visiting for the first time, these resources are intended to help you arrive safely and on time.

Directions to Old Bookstore / Event Center (Building 10)

The Open Educational Resources Workshop will be held in Building 10 (Old Bookstore/Event Center) on the Albany State University West Campus.

Visitors may enter campus from either West Access Drive or East Access Drive. Please review the directions below and use the campus maps provided for reference.

Entrance via West Access

Enter campus through the Main Entrance (marked with a star) on West Access Drive. Continue straight past the Physical Education Building (Building 14) on your right. Building 10 (marked with the red location pin) is right before you approach the Student Center (C Building / Building 12).

Entrance via East Access

Enter campus from East Access Drive and continue straight past I Building / Building 6 (Business and Social Sciences), B Building / Building 7 (Science, Mathematics, and Dental Hygiene), and Building J / Building 8 (Allied Health, Community Service, and Theater). Continue forward and Building 10 will be on the right, just past the Student Center (C Building / Building 12).

Helpful Arrival Tip

Visitors should allow extra time for parking and walking to the venue. Look for directional signage on campus if you are unfamiliar with the West Campus layout.
