  • Connecting Minority Communities (CMC) Grant

Albany State University received a $2.9 million grant from the United States Department of Commerce for the Connecting Minority Communities Program. This grant aims to enhance broadband access and digital inclusion, supporting the expansion of online and distance learning. The program will facilitate the purchase of devices, educational software, and internet services, particularly benefiting low-income students and the broader community affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. This initiative aligns with ASU's strategic goals of community partnership, student access, and technological empowerment.

Digital Learning Communities

These communities are designed to connect learners to each other and the university virtually. Online students are an important part of the university community, and our Digital Learning Communities seek to bring the ASU student experience to you wherever you are in the world. By fostering collaboration among online students, providing opportunities to participate in virtual student events, and facilitating social and academic engagement opportunities, we want these learning communities to be your digital gateway to the ASURams Global Ramily!
