Associate Programs

The Associate of Arts in Core Curriculum degrees offer students a solid foundation in general education, preparing them for transfer into bachelor’s programs or further studies in a wide range of fields. These degrees cover essential academic areas, equipping graduates with versatile skills and knowledge to support diverse educational and career goals.

The Associate of Science in Core Curriculum degrees offer students a solid foundation in general education, preparing them for transfer into bachelor’s programs or further studies in a wide range of fields. These degrees cover essential academic areas, equipping graduates with versatile skills and knowledge to support diverse educational and career goals.

The two-year Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program through ASU-Darton College of Health Professions equips students to work as laboratory technicians in various healthcare settings, including hospitals and clinics. Graduates can sit for national certification exams.

Offered fully online, the Health Information Technology program at Albany State University prepares students for roles as health information technicians, involving tasks such as data management, coding, and information retrieval in healthcare settings.

The Histologic Technician A.A.S. Degree provides hands-on training and foundational knowledge for roles in anatomic pathology, preparing students with job-ready skills.

Bachelor Programs

The Management program helps students build analytical and decision-making skills with an understanding of quantitative techniques and technology. Career options include roles in industrial and service management, quality control, financial analysis, and first-level supervision in various sectors. Students can also specialize in healthcare management.

This RN-to-BSN program supports licensed Registered Nurses who hold an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) and wish to advance to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Admissions are open each semester.

This degree focuses on theories and skills for effective leadership in various organizational settings, including management, human resources, and ethics. Graduates are well-equipped for roles in the public, private, or non-profit sectors.

The major in Psychology provides courses that lead to a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. This program offers a deep understanding of human thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, with an emphasis on research and social and biological factors that shape human behavior. This program prepares students to analyze and influence personal and group behaviors.

The Criminal Justice program at Albany State University prepares students to become leaders and advocates for social justice in a global society, equipping them for entry-level roles across federal, state, and local criminal justice agencies.

Academic Certificate Programs

This program offers academic and practical training for entry-level roles in anatomic pathology. It is accredited by the National Accreditation Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS).

This certification program trains students to assign diagnostic and procedural codes for patient medical records, preparing them for entry-level medical coding roles and the national certification exam for Certified Coding Associate (CCA).

The Computed Tomography certificate program trains students in anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety, equipping them to support physicians in diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient care and safety.

Graduate Programs

The MBA program develops professional leaders who contribute to organizational diversity and growth, equipping them with skills essential for management roles.

This program provides a pathway to a Master’s degree and Tier I Certification in Educational Leadership, preparing graduates for leadership roles in education.

The Counselor Education program trains professional counselors to address mental health needs in various communities, with a focus on educational achievement, career success, mental health, and social development.

This degree in Special Education prepares graduates for T-5 certification in Interrelated Special Education and Intellectual Disabilities, promoting leadership for K-12 populations through a culturally responsive curriculum.

The MPA degree prepares students for leadership roles in public, nonprofit, and private organizations. Concentrations include Criminal Justice Administration, Health Administration & Policy, Human Resources Management, and Public Management.

The Master of Science in Nursing prepares nurses for advanced practice, emphasizing clinical expertise and leadership. Program tracks include Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Nurse Educator (NE), and Nursing Informatics (NI).

The MSW program trains students for clinical practice, focusing on supporting vulnerable populations across all stages of life.

This Criminal Justice program offers concentrations in Law Enforcement, Corrections, Forensic Science, and Public Administration, preparing students for advanced roles in the criminal justice field.
